Gary Gibb is the Chief Strategic Officer and President Asia Pacific of the global aviation consulting specialists Landrum & Brown (L&B) and has over 35 years’ experience in the industry. His dual roles within L&B means he has both global responsibility for strategy and operational responsibility for Asia Pacific where he leads the largest specialist airport planning workforce based in the region. Gary is based in Melbourne and has led L&B’s efforts in Indonesia since 2011 including projects at Jogjakarta, Bali, Surabaya and Makassar and hence has a strong network and background in the aviation opportunities and challenges of the country. Gary’s career includes positions in transport authorities, airlines and consulting and his strengths are in assisting clients to steer a path through complex airport planning challenges and balancing the needs of infrastructure growth and operations with the airport business.
